That’s right folks.  I have been saying it’s been coming for almost two months now.  Well now it’s here.  So let’s get those submissions in cause you don’t wanna see me drawing for the full month.  Cause I’m going to get angry.

So let’s see those comics.  They don’t even have to be comics they can be just your art showing off what you can do.  I am willing to show everything…… almost.

Ooph, so yeah, bit of a filler today.  But, c’mon, it’s an ewok.

Culter and I have had a lot f stuff come up over the weekend which has been eating a lot of our free time.  Things that will really effect what we are going to do with our lives.  So that’s taking precedence right now over most things.

As well as a guild emergency that took up my usual scramble time!  Hah!

Anyways, enjoy the little guy, but be careful, he may jab out your eye.

I was going to draw something more appropriate of the title.  But… it looked really dumb.

So yeah.

You get this I’m sorry (no I’m not, but I like to at least feign empathy ).

Basically to sum up, in Canada, if you make x amount of money, the government gives you X amount of money after you have a child, to assist with your child’s upbringing.  Huzzah, that’s awesome.  Thank you government for doing =something= right.

Anywho, go an entire year with this, no issue.

Go the first month of the second year… no issue.

Then rolls around into this month.   Apparently there was some sort of glitch with our income taxes, and the government never got our cases filed.  So, we get a nice note in the mail going “Oh hey, by the way, since you haven’t filed your taxes, we’re cutting you off from your funds, and we’re making you repay X amount back to us now!”

…

Oh yeah.  I was not a happy camper.

SO, that aside, the world can suck my middle digit.  Hopefully we get this sorted sooner than later though, and I can return to my normal, only pissed at annoying video games, mode.

There’s nothing that drives me further faster then people stating the complete obvious.  Selona does this from time to time when we are driving,  oh look it’s raining!  Why are the wipers still on can’t you tell it stopped raining?  I like to be Capt Obvious in a way that makes me sound dumb but to clarify stuff.  Wake up in the morning, “Is it raining outside?” Selona replies with a “Yes”, or some kind of variation of that.

Some things in my life has happened recently that was kind of behind the creation of this comic as well as some life changes of my own. I would tell you about the life changes but that could ruin a comic run on for later on.  There is something always in the brew considering that real life experiences, for the most part, has made this comic come to life.

Also I have noticed a lack of guest comics.  It’s almost September and I have nothing, good thing I have the entire month of September to get ready for October.  Oh hey, kids are going back to school soon. How interesting would it be to get some real life experiences of people in their first month of school and some encounters that they had.  I would enjoy guest strips like that.   If you have any please email the comic to theculter@theculter.com

I don’t play so  much anymore.  But Stephen plays it regularly and I think Maru has picked it up again more recently.  So a bitty tribute to the game that seems to eat more of my husband’s time than World of Warcraft!

So yes I shaved my head as per what the comics show. Sophia and I had the same length of hair and now I am way ahead of her again.  This is the fourth time shaving my head and my hair is still growing faster.

The old spice guy has been making a huge appearance all over FaceBook, Twitter, MySpace, YouTube.  So this is me wishing that hair your hair wishes it could be.

Also on a  side note still haven’t gotten any guest comics sent to me as of yet.  I am wanting to do an October guest comic month, so that means it’s Halloween so send me comics of whatever you want.  theculter@theculter.com is the address I am eagerly waiting for those comics.

SO; Sophia has finally made the final step (hurr durr u see whut ah did thar) into toddlerhood.  Quite literally.  She’s chasing her grandmother’s dog around, and walking about like a drunk monkey!  It’s… actually pretty cute, but it’s a preclusion to years of chasing around a hyper child.

I’m missing the days she slept all the time already.

So yeah,

I should explain this image.

See, it’s been a pretty hectic month so far.  You’d think it’d be all over with, you know, the wedding and such being done.  Sad to say, things kinda continued to rollercoaster down that long path of “holy crap”.

Today is August 10th, 2010.  My mom’s birthday.

Another year older, another year wiser.

And she’s spending it in the hospital with a blood infection.  I can’t take my daughter in to see her, and I’m frustrated.  I’m frustrated because the reason she HAS this infection is because she was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.

It’s hard to put into words exactly how I feel about this, or how it’s affected myself and my family.  I have a new appreciation for all those that have suffered and survived through this terrible ordeal.  I mean that sincerely, and not just to those whom it’s physically effected, but those who’s lives have been drastically altered because someone whom they dearly love or care for has had to deal with this.  It takes one hell of a strong person to get through this.

I’d also like to thank those who sit back and take it all in, and are willing to offer their care and concern to those who are battling with whatever demons they come across during these trying times.  I’d personally like to thank each and everyone of you who has given me words of kindness, and hope.  You know who you are, and I’ll never be able to properly thank you for the comfort and support you’ve offered myself and my family.  We’ll be forever grateful.

So yeah.  My mom is an awesome woman, and I love her.  She’s tough, and she’ll hang through it.

So I had to format my computer.  The only thing supported by Windows 7 was my graphics card.   The only thing, like everything was supported in Beta of Windows 7 when the release hits nothing worked at all.  This is the first time I’ve seen this happen I remember when win 3.1 stuff worked and you could upgrade to like win 98.  Guess what that worked this is the weirdest thing I have seen.

From here I had a vote on facebook,  win xp, win vista, new computer, or iMac.  Well for the option of money I went with win xp.  Now I don’t get the upgraded DirectX 11 or 12 or 13 or whatever the hell they are on now.  My WoW experience has changed a lot, as per the graphics are not as pretty.  As much as I like the iMac it is something I plan for in the future.  Yes the future will have an iMac for me at some time.

Not just that but MMO-Champion gave a nice blue post saying that we can changed the water graphics in Cat or something like that.   I won’t get this experience… Yet

Also I haven’t received any guest comics as of yet, still looking forward to some eventually getting to me theculter@theculter.com is the address you need to get to.

Ah yes the conversation that comes up all the time with WoW players, or at least the wow players I play with.  Remember when this and that and the next thing.  What’s going to happen what’s going to take place.

I’m not sure about all of my readers but I know most of you have or play WoW, for those of you that don’t know I am speaking about World of Warcraft.

Cataclysm is on the way, in about two more months, and personally myself  I am looking forward to it.  No more Armor Pen, the specs are being revamped it’s like we are going back to the old world to play the old world way.

I can’t wait for the first blue square to be put up and I’m told again to trap it.  I am the raid leader so I will be telling myself to do it, better yet the first sheeped Moon.  The days of lore are coming back and the difficulty is being taken up a notch.

Also if you have some remember when moments in WoW feel free to send them to me at the email address listed below, you never know it might get printed.  Won’t have your picture but might have your texting.

Once again I am putting this out there, I am looking for guest comics.  I know it might take some time to get one drawn and what have you but they would be really awesome to have sooner then later.  You don’t have to have a web comic already, you could be just thinking about starting one.  I am not saying I am being desprite for a comic, but I would like to by some point of this year have eight guest comic strips put up.  So once again send them my way at theculter@theculter.com.
